The Rest of the Gospel: Rediscovering Our Riches in Christ

Our evening theme this year is, “The Rest of the Gospel: Rediscovering Our Riches In Christ”. Our morning Bible Study will be on “Christ in the Book of Hebrews”. Speakers and Bible teachers will be Jonathan Anderson, Tom Hilpert, Jack Aamot, Diane Snyder and Peter Churness. There will also be plenty of time for worship and prayer.

	Tom Hilpert Tom is an LEM Deeper Life board member and the founding pastor of New Joy Fellowship, a Nashville area church plant. After graduating from the American Lutheran Theological Seminary in 1997, Tom gained recognition for planting a ground breaking cell church called River Fellowship in the Twin Cities area. Tom is the author of several books including Surviving Seminary: A Practical Guide for Students and their Spouses. His non-fiction writing has been read and studied all over the United States and in England, South America and Asia. Tom lives outside of Lebanon, TN with his wife, four children and a bunch of chickens and goats.
	Jonathan Anderson Jonathan Anderson is a board member, evangelist, and historian for LEM Deeper Life. While a college student, Jonathan strongly felt God’s call to preach His Word. As the son of the former LEM Eastern Fellowship director, he also became interested in researching the LEM’s rich revival history. His desire is to preach the gospel and recount stories of God’s works in the past so that Christians would be revived and have hope to seek the power of God in our land. Jonathan lives in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, with his wife Abby and their daughter Anika.
	Jack Aamot Jack served as a missionary in Brazil for 14 years with an emphasis on evangelism, small groups and training the laity one on one. He also pastored in California and Minnesota with an emphasis on these same three areas. Jack was also the director of LEM from around 1985 to 1995. He is now retired, but visits Brazil, preaches on occasion and is a mentor to various pastors and lay leaders. He enjoys staying involved in the lives of his kids, in-laws and grandkids and he enjoys the exciting adventure of following Jesus!

	Peter Churness Peter Churness is the director of LEM Deeper Life. A 1997 graduate of the American Lutheran Theological Seminary, Peter has a passion for creatively communicating the gospel. In 2003 he founded an award winning company which creates evangelistic video games. He is also the founding pastor of Life Together Church, a cell church in Wright County, MN. He also assists local congregations in the areas of worship, small group ministries and cell church plants. He lives in Buffalo, Minnesota with his wife Sandy and three kids.
